And what can be sweeter than BLŪ’s “chill” atmosphere – the wildly popular ice-made lodge, featuring the warm glow of a fireplace and mantel that displays an ice-carved trophy fish and game, a 6-foot carved moose in a wall of ice and countless activities in BLŪ’s 2,000 square feet of “chill” space. For a third season – BLŪ Ice Bar and Lounge at Grand Superior Lodge in Two Harbors has opened its icy doors. The construction of BLŪ began on December 14th – when 51,000 pounds of ice arrived at Grand Superior Lodge. Internationally acclaimed ice carvers – teamed with the help of additional local carvers – worked with 170 blocks of ice, each weighing 300 pounds. Snow – which is used to create the “logs” included in the BLŪ’s ice log lounge theme – is also used.
BLŪ will contain 27,000 gallons of water frozen, sculpted and perfected for an ice experience like nothing else out there!

BLŪ will feature an entertainment area and five different games including ice beer pong and the stump game.
